Philica Sands

Philica is also a native of the island of Eleuthera but relocated to the city after completing high school.  She has worked in the hospitality industry for many years which strengthened her customer service skills.  In 2020, the COVID pandemic led her back home to Eleuthera where she was able to follow her true passion-working with animals and nature. Since joining the team, she has enjoyed working closely with patients and helping to educate clients to raise animal awareness. Having five dogs and four rescue cats of her own, she has become instrumental in rescuing and rehoming countless animals both locally and abroad. Philica enjoys farming in her spare time and enjoys raising chickens and quails. She is also one of the few hobbyist beekeepers on the island. However, in her true downtime, she loves to explore the island and travel to new places.
