Dr. Italia Sands

Dr. Italia Sands, affectionately known to some as “Dr. Tali” is a native ‘island girl’ of Rock Sound Eleuthera where she resides as the primary veterinarian and practice owner of Noah's Ark Animal Centre. Before returning home in 2017, Dr. Sands spent several years working as a veterinary associate at Palmdale Veterinary Hospital in New Providence. Passionate about small animal medicine, she enjoys the predominance of dog and cat patient care at the clinic, with occasional exotic species and small ruminants. In her spare time, Dr. Sands enjoys trying out new cooking recipes, travelling or road trips with her two dogs “Mr. Sheffield” and “Harmony “or simply snuggling on the couch to watch her favorite Netflix series.
