It all started with a pig. Patty’s adventure in veterinary care began when she fostered / adopted “Stella”, a disabled piglet. That was when she met Dr. Sands and learned of her plans to open Noah’s Ark. She jumped at the opportunity to be a part of the clinic and has been an enthusiastic member of the team ever since. Several years and many species later, Patty’s passion for animals and their welfare has only grown. She enjoys expanding her skills and knowledge to better help pets and their owners, and embraces the unique challenges faced by a family island practice. At home, Patty still dedicates her time to animals. She has become an experienced “Foster Failure” with a family that has not only included Stella, but also numerous dogs, cats, ducks, chickens and a very, very understanding husband.
